Expected results:
The Development organisation itself is a network organisation which is anxious to create the best possible conditions for the members. The exchange of know-how and common further development of the concerned members will be supported by the NENA project. NENA is an important step towards transnational collaberation.

Expected results:
As a result, we expect increased public sensibility for the renewable resource, wood, and the entire value added chain. With the NENA project, we want to internationalise the innovation competition, in the form of practical, implemented examples, and exchange experiences with the project partners. Once the project has ended, there should be direct contact with partner organisations in the Alpine region. A special concern is the SME's development of technical as well as social expertise of this craft. Within the framework of NENA we want to further develop and internationalise the specific training programme. Pilot projects regarding this matter will have been implemented by the end of the NENA project.

Helmut Krapmeier (Leiter des Bereichs Solar-Architektur)

The Energy Institute is a research and consulting facility in the State of Vorarlberg which endeavors to support SMEs in increasing energy efficiency and improving collaboration in order to reach the goals. With the transnational collaboration in the NENA project an additional education and training programme should be developed, which will improve the processes in the value added chain (port coverage), encourage innovations for further development and accelerate the use of renewable energy. An important concern is the technological and practical development of the Passive House. Offers should be created for seminars in this area as well.

Expected results:
Protecting by Using is the motto of the native and re-growable resouce: Forest. With the NENA project, we want to draw heightened and transnational attention to this native resouce. We want to implement concepts that will provoke the use of native timber and realise them together with the partners. An important concern is the improvement of ports in the processing chain, which is why we are developing solutions with the local and transnational partners in the framework of the project.
