ENERgy Efficiency and Renewable Energies in the BUILDing Sector in the Alpine Space

Submission

After an intensive planning and evaluation phase, we now managed to formulate the ENERBUILD project, to work out a coherent project plan and to set the basis for a successful partnership work. On the 18th April 2008 we have submitted the final application form to the Alpine Space Programme.

To the Project Homepage ENERBUILD

We would like to thank all  involved in the formulation of the project proposal for the intensive cooperation and the sincere commitment to this project.

We would also like to thank the Alpine Space Programme team, the NCPs, the MA and the JTS for their friendly and competent support during the project preparation.

ENERBUILD project figures:

  • 6 participating Alpine countries
  • 9 transnational project partners: public institutions, cross-sector associations, research institutes and cluster organizations with direct access to about 500 small and medium-sized enterprises
  • CIPRA and 4 Italian governmental bodies have declared their interest in acting as official observer to the project
  • 15 local organizations are directly involved in the project and have signed local PP agreements

The project focuses on the promotion of high quality energy efficient and energy producing buildings. The small structured economy in the building sector in the alpine space means that there is a high demand for more SME support in this field. The various activities of ENERBUILD are directed towards strengthening alpine SMEs in the field of energy efficient and energy producing buildings.
The project partnership is well prepared to cope with the project challenges. With the NENA project an alpine wide SME network was established. ENERBUILD can rely on the support and infrastructure of the NENA network for its activities.
