NENA Half time results - Innovation management - Education and training - Renewable energies - Energy efficiency - The Wood chain - Interface management

NENA half time results

The Interreg III B project NENA - ´Network Enterprise Alps´ started in March 2006. After 14 months runtime NENA is well on its way and several interim results can be presented.

Innovation management: a basic need of SMEs to face the worldwide market Education and training

The focus on short-term matters as well as a lack of awareness and personnel often account for a failure to innovate. NENA demonstrates how innovation management could be fostered to SMEs in the Alps.

Education, training and know-how and experiency sharing

The exchange of knowledge and professional experience as well as qualification measures is crucial to improve the market position of SMEs. Within NENA, education and training play an important role.

Renewable energies: pilot projects, feasibility studies and funding

NENA aims at contributing to more environmentally conscious and energy optimizing solutions in design, engineering and manufacturing processes.

Training, excursions and guidelines for increased energy efficiency

NENA wants to contribute in increasing energy efficiency in the building sector, by organizing training sessions and excursions focusing on passive houses and factor 10 renovations, and by giving guidelines for public buildings.

Awards and events for a stronger regional wood chain

The wood production chain, from forestry to wooden architecture and design, plays a crucial role in many alpine regional economies. NENA makes it possible to learn from the best.

Interface management for stronger regional value added chains

Making better use of regional resources as well as strengthening regional value added chains and networks require a better management of interfaces.
